Prof. Wang obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Queensland, Australia. He is now a Professor at School of Chemical Engineering, The University of Adelaide, Australia. His research interests focus on nanomaterial synthesis and application for adsorption and catalysis, fuel and energy conversion and environmental remediation. He has published more than 500 refereed journal papers with citation over 41,000 and H-index of 131. He was awarded 2012 Thomson Reuters Citation & Innovation Awards in Australia. He is also the Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher In Engineering for 2016-2020.

Professor Hahn is Regents Professor of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), Fellow of the Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST), Fellow of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) and Fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM). He joined JBNU in 1991, prior to which he worked for LG Metals Research Center for 1988-1991 after he received his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Utah in 1988. His research interest is synthesis of metal and metal oxide nanostructures and their applications for optoelectronic devices and chemical and biological sensors. He holds 17 patents, published over 320 SCI papers (over 14200 citaions, h-index over 62 in Google scholar), and edited and/or co-authored 7 books including Metal Oxide Nanostructures and Their Applications (5 volume sets) published by American Scientific Publishers in 2010. He received MCARE Best Research Award 2019 and Woo SeongIl Materials Awards 2018 by KIChE, Asian Energy Technology Award 2017 by International Association of Advanced Materials, Rudolf A. Marcus Award for outstanding research in the area of chemical science in 2016, the American Ceramic Society Global Ambassador Award 2016, the Scientist of the Month Award in 2011 by Korea Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the CBNU’s Best Research Professor Award consecutively in 2008-2010, and Top 100 Scientists Award four times in 2005, 2011, 2014 and 2015 accredited by International Biographical Center, Cambridge, UK.

Dr. Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He has studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and studied on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University, Elazig, Turkey in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired on November 28, 2019, due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions of oral or poster. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last seven years (2014 - 2020) over 80 conferences as Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc- theses. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University, in 1999-2004. He received a certificate awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Dr. Habil. Vaidotas KAŽUKAUSKAS is a Professor at the Faculty of Physics of Vilnius University, Lithuania. He was awarded Dr. Habil. degree in 1999. The topics of his research work are carrier transport, generation, recombination and trapping phenomena in advanced materials and structures for (opto-)electronic and photovoltaic applications. Prof. V. Kažukauskas is/was involved as a team leader into the six large-scale international projects and other numerous projects. He was awarded the National Science Award of Lithuanian Republic, the National Science Award for the Distinguished Scientist, the Science Award of the Rector of Vilnius University and others. V. Kažukauskas has more than 380 publications, had delivered more than 60 invited lectures at the international conferences, and authored three textbooks.

Gerd Bacher studied physics and received his PhD at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He continued his career as senior scientist at Würzburg University and joined Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, as a guest professor 1996/1997. In 2003, Gerd Bacher got a full professorship for electronic materials and devices at the faculty of engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where he co-founded the center of nanointegration (CENIDE) and established the studying program NanoEngineering. His research activities cover nanomaterials and nanodevices for optoelectronic, electronic and spintronic applications, with a main focus on 2D materials and nanocrystals. He published > 300 scientific papers, delivered more than 80 invited talks, and acts as a reviewer for numerous scientific journals and funding agencies.

Vasudevanpillai Biju studied chemistry at CSIR-RRL and the University of Kerala and obtained his Ph.D. in 2000. After postdoctoral research in Japan and the USA, he was a scientist in AIST, Japan. He was also a visiting scientist at the University of Texas at Austin and a JST PRESTO Researcher. Since February 2016, he has been a Professor at Hokkaido University. His research interests include semiconductor quantum dots, photo-functional molecules, and single-molecule techniques. His research activities are recognized with various awards by the Ozaki Foundation (Gennai Award), the Japanese Photochemistry Association, the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association, and the Chemical Society of Japan. Since 2011 he has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Aleksandr Rodin received his Ph.D. in 2012 from UC San Diego, where he focused on disordered systems and plasmonic effects in graphene. Following a two-year postdoctoral position at Boston University focusing on two-dimensional materials, he moved to the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at the National University of Singapore. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Yale-NUS College in Singapore. His current work primarily focuses on the electronic properties of materials and ionic transport in solids

Dr. Renhao Dong is a TUD Young Investigator and leads an independent research group in the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials at Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry and Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed), Technische Universität Dresden. He received his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2008 and then doctor’s degree in physical chemistry in 2013 in Shandong University (Jinan, China). He joined the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Mainz, Germany) as a research associate in July 2013. In 01/2017, he was appointed as a research group leader of organic 2D (O2D) materials in the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials. At present, he is an associate member of cfaed and PI of CRC-1415, SPP-1928 and ERC Starting Grant (FC2DMOFs).

Agnieszka Maria Jastrzębska is a Professor of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). She leads an interdisciplinary research team at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Ceramic and Polymer Materials, WUT. Her original research works are concentrated around nanotechnology for bioactive materials with multifunctional hybrid nanocomposite structures. They were conducted in numerous national and international projects and received many prestigious awards, including Minister of the Education and Science Award for industrial implementations or Polish Intelligent Development award. The current fields of interest comprise biomedical, environmental, and catalytic applications of novel 2D materials within emphasis given to their sustainability and toxicological effects observed at relevant exposures.

Carlos A. Guerrero-Fajardo has a Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, Heterogeneous Catalysis Area from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2007) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Heterogeneous catalysis from Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg France). Some of his research was in special materials for improving the methane selective oxidation. This work was carried out in the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) of Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, 2005-2007. Also, he has fourty-five years (45) of experience as a Professor in Organic, Industrial and Environmental Chemistry areas at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He has done heterogeneous catalysis research, design of catalysts in the methane selective oxidation to formaldehyde, as well as research in the sol-gel method to get high metallic dispersion, and research in catalysts for syngas conversion to fuels products from biomass gasification. He has also been involved in processes and products design for improving technologies related to natural resources conversion into energetic products. He has advanced knowledge in biofuels development from natural products, renewable energy and graphene production from coal materials using technologies of exfoliation in liquid phase with ultrasound and supercritical fluids-SFC´s. Finally, he directed approximately 100 projects for different companies related to management of renewable and non-renewable Natural Resources and has a total of 55 publications and 390 citations.

Monu Verma has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and, Nanoscience and Technology, Metal Oxide nanomaterials synthesis for remediation of Toxic Pollutants from IIT-Roorkee, Roorkee, India. Some of his research was on the degradation of chemical warfare agents via the physical process of synthesized metal oxides materials. This work was carried out in the DRDO Gwalior and IIT Roorkee. Also, he has five years of experience as an Assistant Professor/Researcher in Environmental Chemistry areas at Amity University, India, and the University of Seoul, South Korea. He has also prepared multifunctional polymer composite for selective removal of inorganic and organic water pollutants from complex wastewater. He has also been involved in biomass conversion and its application in the environmental field. He published more than 30 articles in SCI/ Scopus journals, and currently working as Brain Pool Fellow in the wastewater treatment field.

This thesis investigates the feasibility of developing wideband resonant cavity antennas (RCAs) to achieve ETSI Class-2 antenna requirements for operation in 21.2-23.6 GHz frequency band. Commercially available Class-2 reflector antennas have strict requirements to conform to the suitable radiation pattern envelope (RPE) specifications, as set by the regulatory bodies. Despite excellent performance of commercial Class-2 compliant antennas, a major geometrical constraint prevails due to their non-planar, complex, multi-piece and bulky structures. RCAs on the other hand, are well known for their simple and planar configurations. With rapid advancements in modern wireless technologies, RCAs have found numerous applications from indoor personal communications to wireless sensor networks, and from point-to-point communications to satellite reception. This thesis investigates the possibility of developing wideband and high-gain resonant cavity antenna arrays (RCAAs), to combine the advantages of low-cost, planar configuration with high efficiency and compactness.

Fan Kun is Associate Professor of UNSW Law's Herbert Smith Freehills China International Business and Economic Law (CIBEL) Centre. Her teaching and research focus in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), comparative legal studies, and law and society. Professor Fan has studied and worked in China, Singapore, U.S.A., Switzerland, France, Hong Kong and Canada, and speaks Chinese, English and French. With her training in both the East and the West, in both common law and civil law jurisdictions, she is particularly interested in broad intellectual inquiries across national, disciplinary and professional boundaries. Before joining us, Professor Fan was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at McGill University in Canada and was named the Norton Rose Fulbright Faculty Scholar in Arbitration & Commercial Law in 2017. She has also taught for seven years at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2009-2016) and was a Visiting Scholar of the Harvard Yenching Institute at Harvard University (2012-2013). Professor Fan has led and engaged in many research projects and grants in Hong Kong, Japan, the US and Switzerland. She is author of the book Arbitration in China: A Legal and Cultural Analysis(Hart Publishing) and has published extensively on cutting-edge issues in a variety of leading international journals, including Harvard Negotiation Law Review, University of Pennsylvania East Asia Law Review, Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of International Arbitration, Yearbook of Private International Law, European Business Law Review. Dr. Vivek Shukla received his doctorate from Banaras Hindu University in India, where he was advised by Padma Shree Prof. Onkar Nath Srivastava. Hydrogen storage materials and CO2 storage materials are among his research interests. Dr. Vivek Shukla is the author of numerous reputable research articles on hydrogen storage materials. He made numerous significant discoveries in aspects of catalyzing and destabilizing metal hydrides. He is currently working as a Visiting Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Centre for Clean Energy Materials Research. His main research interest is on synthesis and characterization and catalyzing metal hydrides, graphene and Metal-Organic Frameworks, Metal hydride Compressors etc..

Yong Du currently holds position as professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Institute of Technology, China. Previously, he was an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University, Australia. He obtained his Ph.D. at Tongji University, China in 2013. He is interested in flexible thermoelectric nanocomposites and devices. He has published more than 60 journal papers, and applied 20 patents.

Rozalina Zakaria is currently a Senior Lecturer in Photonics Reserach Centre, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She received her PhD (Laser Physics) from University of Hull, United Kingdom in 2009, MSc (Applied Physics) from University of Malaya in 2002 and BSc (Physics) from University of Putra Malaysia in 2000. She was an assistant lecturer from 2002-2004 in University of Malaya before pursue her PhD degree in UK. She has bee appointed as Visiting Researcher in National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2011-2012 in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. She involved in the Plasmonics, Nanophotonics and Laser-Matter Interaction research there. Her research is focuses on plasmonics and nanophotonics fabrication and application in devices. Her research is involving fabrication and integrated of plasmonics materials in a device such as Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED), Organic Solar Cell and fiber as a sensor application. Her interest is also comtemplating the use of laser in liquid, nonlinear optics, plasmonics waveguide and graphene plasmonics in telecommunication region. To date, she has supervised 3 PhD and 5 MSc students with 2 PhD studetns is still on-going. She has also authoured/co-authored for more htan 30 journals. Mu’ath Al-Hasan received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, in 2005, the M.Sc. in wireless communications from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication engineering from Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), Université du Québec, Canada, 2015. In 2013, he worked at Planet Labs. Inc, California, USA as an RF Engineer. In May 2015, he joined Concordia University as postdoctoral fellow. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Al-Hasan is the recepeint of the prestigous ADEK Award for Research Excellence in 2019. His current research interests include Millimeter-wave Antennas, Terahertz bands, Channel Modling, MIMO systems, Artificial Materials.

Dr. Muhammad Y. Bashouti is now a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor), the head of the Molecular Interfaces Research Laboratory at the Environmental physics and solar energy department of the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, Sede-Boqer Campus, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He got his B.Sc. in Chemistry with physics track at the Hebrew University at Jerusalem and Direct Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. After a short post-doctoral in Chemical engineering at Technion, he joined the material physics department at the Max-Planck for the Science of Light at Erlangen, Germany. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals (with ~1450 citations) and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. His group includes 11 students from different disciplines (Physics, Chemistry & Engineering) and different countries (Germany, China, India, and Israel).
