Yousaf Bin Zikria (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Yeungnam University, South Korea. He authored more than 100 refereed articles, conference papers, book chapters, and patents. His journal article's cumulative impact factor (IF) is more than 320. He published papers at the top venue, including IEEE Communications, Surveys, and Tutorials, IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Network, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems, Elsevier Sustainable Cities and Society, Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications, etc. He has managed numerous FT/SI in SCI/E indexed journals. His research interests include IoT, 5G, Machine Learning, wireless communications and networks, WSNs, routing protocols, CRAHN, CRASN, transport protocols, VANETS, embedded systems, and network and information security. Dr. Xiuliang Jin was introduced in 2019 as a Young Talent of Class A of the Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is a professor and doctoral tutor and a head of crop phenotypic innovation research group. He mainly engages in crop phenotyping identification and precision agriculture. The main research interests are: (1) the application of quantitative remote sensing in agricultural monitoring; (2) the application and combination of optical sensors; (3) the development and application of crop phenotyping platforms; (4) crop models and multi-source remote sensing data assimilation; (5) multi-source image data processing; and (6) association analysis between phenome and genome and key functional gene mining. Since 2011, as the first author or corresponding author, he has published 34 SCI indexed papers, and the coauthored papers were more than 50. The articles are mainly published in IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Magazine、Earth System Science Data、Remote Sensing of Environment, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, European Journal of Agronomy, Field Crops Research, and Agricultural Water Management, etc. In current, he is an associate editor of The Cropjournal、The Journal of Agricultural Science and Agronomy Journal, an editorial board of Scientific Reports and Crop Magazine, and a guest editor of Remote Sensing-Special Issue "Estimation of Crop Phenotyping Traits using Unmanned Ground Vehicle and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Imagery. In addition, he is a member of the first Agricultural Modeling and Simulation Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Simulation and committee member of the IEEE International Conference on Application of Computational Intelligence in Remote Sensing in 2019.
Dr. Wei is currently a principle researcher at Huawei German Research Center. He received a PhD from the University of Wales in 2010. Dr. Wei’s research interests include optics communications, photonics switching/signal processing, advanced modulation/coding, digital signal processing, algorithms, and machine learning. He edited one book and (co-)authored over 170 peer-reviewed journal/conference papers including more than 16 invited. He holds several US/European patents. Dr. Wei is a Marie Curie fellow and a senior member of IEEE.
Prof. Mihail Lucian Pascu is born in Bucharest, Romania and graduated from the Physics Faculty, University of Bucharest in 1968. He performed a PhD stage at the University of Texas at Dallas (USA) and obtained the PhD in Optics, Lasers and Plasma Physics from the University of Bucharest in 1975. He was Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Physics and Technology of Radiation Devices since 1977 where he was Director between 1983 and 1990; he was at the same time member of the Scientific Council of the Physics Faculty of the University of Bucharest and of the Executive Committee of the Central Institute for Physics. He is currently Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics and Associated Professor at the Physics Faculty of the University of Bucharest where he heads PhD in Optics, Laser and Spectroscopy. He worked as Science Officer at the European Commission DG RTD serving at COST Secretariat for the field Medicine and Health between 2001 – 2004; he was Science Officer of the European Science Foundation at the COST Office between 2004 and 2006 responsible for Biomedicine and Molecular Biosciences. He published more than 120 papers, obtained 10 patents and presented more than 350invited papers or communications at national and international conferences. He co-authored two books. He is member of 12 national or international societies. He is member of five COST European networks in physics or biomedicine and biomedical sciences and liaison expert between COST BMBS Domain Committee and ESF PESC Standing Committee.
